Bookings & Cancellation Policy
Payment Methods:
We accept Visa and Mastercard only. Cash payments are not accepted.
For individual bookings, the full amount will be charged to the card provided. The card must be in the booker’s name and presented at check-in; otherwise, the booking will be cancelled. Group bookings will have policies discussed via email.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Free cancellation: Must be made at least 2 days before arrival; otherwise, the full amount will be charged.
Non-refundable bookings: No changes or cancellations allowed; full amount charged.
No-show or late cancellation: Full charge and booking cancellation.
ID & Credit Card Requirements:
Guests must present a valid physical ID or passport at check-in. A credit/debit card in the booker’s name is required for any potential charges for lost keycards, damages, or behavioral issues. Without both, the booking will not be honored.
Age Requirement:
The minimum age for all guests is 19. Any member not meeting this requirement will not be admitted, and no refunds will be issued.

Gogarty Hostel is located in the lively Temple Bar area, Dublin’s cultural hub. Expect noise from the surrounding nightlife.

Security & Liability:
The hostel is not responsible for lost or stolen valuables. Secure cages are available under your bed for storage, but you must provide your own padlock. Guests are liable for any damages caused to the hostel or other guests’ property. Liability is limited as per the Hotel Proprietors Act 1963.
Bikes & Equipment:
Bikes, scooters, and similar items are not accepted, and we do not take responsibility for them.
